Black and Mild by Sven is a mesmerizing exploration of abstract graffiti, showcasing a chaotic yet harmonious interplay of bold, black strokes against a muted background. The composition is dominated by large, looping shapes that evoke a sense of movement and spontaneity, while smaller, intricate scribbles fill the spaces in between, adding complexity and depth. The drips and splatters indicate a raw, unrefined energy reminiscent of urban street art.
The balance between the dense lines and open spaces creates a dynamic tension, pulling the viewer’s gaze across every inch of the canvas. This piece captures the spirit of rebellion and free expression, inviting the audience to find meaning in the seemingly chaotic presentation. Its unique blend of fluidity and structure sets it apart as a striking representation of modern abstract art.

A propos de Sven
Sven is a French artist born in 1988 in Mulhouse. His passion for graffiti started after observing many drawings done by graffiti artists on rails, wagons, and train stations, which he observed during his numerous journeys on trains.
After some encounters on the local scene, he took his first steps in the world of graffitti.
His technique is characterized by rounded letters, called Flop and Trow-up. Sven wants his work to be readable to everybody and, above all, to bring color wherever he goes. For the past years, Sven has been working on canvas and on textures, and superimposing layers, always retaining his readable and round letters.
He works with other artists to bring graffiti to places where we do not expect it, like on sculptures by Laurence Dreano or David Zeller.
He is part of the groups TVC and SCHLAGER with whom he organizes exhibitions and installations.
